Our Green Energy Mechanical story isn’t simply about serving our customers with the highest caliber of heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical services. We are a diverse company, bringing together a collection of cultures and backgrounds in our company; a reflection of our service area in Canton and the surrounding areas. Our owner, Jonathan Neves, is one of a very small number of minority businesses owners in the contracting space. In fact, as of the 2019 Annual Business Survey, only 18.3% of all businesses in the United States are minority-owned.
In any industry, being a minority isn’t just a statistic. It often means having to work harder to earn opportunities, and Jonathan is paving the way for other up-and-coming talented individuals of minority status who may be considering taking the same path into business.
From a very early age, Jonathan wanted to own his own business. It’s not something he decided to do one day!
