We were disappointed that when the filter housing top didn't fit quite right when demonstrated the installer said to push it in harder and it would be fine (not in those exact words). It made us wonder if we chose the right company, but the problem was corrected right away once reported so we feel better but we wonder what else might not have been done quite right that we don't know about. Probably nothing, and we look forward to a good experience from here on. Also, same installer could use some training re: condescending to women. Last: While struggling to remove the old furnace a glass fell from a nearby book case and smashed on the floor; a gash left on the wall due to tight fit getting furnace out. Maybe should have moved the bookcase or asked us to.
Cleanup was spectacular! The area was left cleaner than when they started!
We liked how Jon and Jen discussed our situation during and after his initial estimate visit, and answered all our questions in a friendly and professional manner. We were not pressured to buy the most expensive thing when we proposed what we thought was best for our house. At the estimate meeting, we felt that Jon would be reliable and honest - so important to a long-term relationship with a contractor. Plus you are local - always a plus in our view. Except for the issues above (hence, the 7), it's been a good experience.
